The recipe for this cocktail was supposedly created in the 1880s by a bartender at the Pendennis Club, a gentlemen's club in Kentucky.
1. Place a sugar cube in a rocks glass and saturate it with Angostura bitters.
2. Add a few dashes of plain water, and stir so that some sugar is dissolved.
3. Fill the glass with ice cubes, and add 45ml of bourbon.
4. Garnish with an orange peel, squeezing it a little bit to release the oils.
Serve: Approx 15 drinks
